The professional development register provides details of conference and training completed by Elected Members in accordance with the Local Government Act 1995 and the Elected Member Training Policy.
The register includes Chief Executive Officer Training and is published the in the interest of accountability and transparency.

Annual Elected Member training report
In accordance with Section 5.127 of the Local Government Act 1995, a report must be prepared annually on all training completed by Elected Members within a financial year. This report must be published on the City’s website within one month after the end of the financial year to which the report relates.
The reporting requirements commenced after the 2019 Local Government Election.
