Streaming platforms

Kanopy is a movie streaming platform for public libraries. Online or through an app, it delivers one of the most extensive collections of indie films, classic cinema, festival and educational documentaries, and movies.

Loan information

  • Receive 8 tickets a month, that can be used on a variety of films or TV episodes (tickets will be reset to 8 on the 1st of each month)
  • Each Film or TV episode will show the number of tickets required and how long you have to watch it
  • Films or TV episodes will appear in your “continue watching” list with the remaining access time
  • Kanopy Kids titles don’t use tickets. You have unlimited access to these titles each month.
  • You will need your library card, PIN and email address to start watching.
